Hi I'm Suzanna. Welcome!
Life can feel messy — especially when your brain doesn’t seem to work the way everyone else’s does.
Do you ever think, “What am I doing wrong? Why does life feel so much harder for me?”
Maybe you’ve always felt a bit different. Maybe you’ve spent years masking, coping, overthinking, burning out, or wondering why things that seem easy for others feel so hard for you.

I get it. I’m a neurodivergent specialist counsellor (ADHD), and I’m part of a neurodiverse family (autism, AuDHD, ADHD). I know what it’s like to grow up without the language for your experience — to be late-diagnosed, self-diagnosing, or just beginning to realise that your brain might be wired differently.

Neurodivergent counselling can help if:
-
You''ve been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, or AuDHD or are on the path to be diagnosed and feel confused about what it means for you.
-
You don't know whether you are neurodivergent but you're starting to look into it and suspect that you might be.
-
You struggle with anxiety, low mood, or emotional overwhelm linked to sensory overload or feeling rejected or judged by others.
-
You have difficulty with the practical side of life - motivating yourself to do boring tasks or finish big projects feels close to impossible.
-
You feel drained from masking or “camouflaging” at work, in relationships, or social settings.
-
You are carrying trauma from past experiences. You may also have had experiences that have invalidated your way of being or reinforced your feeling of "difference".
-
You’re burned out - exhausted from trying to keep up, fit in, or hold everything together

Whatever is going on for you, I imagine you might be feeling anxious, discouraged, confused, or even hopeless at times. And I want you to know: you’re not broken. You’re trying to adapt to a world that wasn’t built for neurodivergent minds.

Simply surviving isn’t healthy — and it’s not the only option.

Maybe it’s time to talk with someone who really gets neurodiversity.
Someone who isn’t your parent, partner, or friend — but someone trained to help you understand yourself, unmask safely, and build a life that works with your brain instead of against it.

Themes that often come up are:
-
Managing overwhelm and burnout. Understanding how you became overwhelmed and putting in strategies to stop it happening again.
-
Unmasking. How to unmask safely in a way that enables you to become more yourself with people you trust.
-
Identity and self-worth. Rebuilding your self-confidence beyond labels like "difficult", "disorganised" or "oversensitive".
-
Relationships. Navigating friendships, families and partners with more clarity and understanding. Recognizing and working through social anxiety.
-
Emotional regulation. Understanding your nervous system and developing strategies to support it.
-
Celebrating non-conformity. Exploring how neurodivergence overlaps with gender identity, sexuality and culture.

Whether this is your first time considering counselling or you’ve tried it before, I’m really glad you’re here.
Take a look around and see if anything resonates. If you have questions, you’re very welcome to book a free 20-minute call so we can talk about what’s going on for you and how I might support you.

Testimonials
I have been counselled by Suzanna for most of the year and I have continued because of her abilities and empathy. She has been insightful, thought-provoking and non-judgemental. This allows me to be my most open and honest about my thoughts, fears, upsets and hopes. I am thankful for her heart and mind.
Jo W (BSC and MSC PSych)
Big thanks to you for the advice, the listening , allowing me the opportunity to whinge, moan, explain, as well as the opportunity to joke and be so honest. It was a great experience and one I very much looked forward to!
