ADHD

I have lived experience of ADHD and have personally worked on understanding how to manage it in many areas of my life. I have also worked with a wide variety of clients working on issues such as procrastination, self-esteem, anxiety, rejection sensitive dysphoria and executive function issues (memory etc).

Autism
​
My interest in the different way people with autism think and behave began early, as more than one person in my immediate family has autism.

I have worked successfully with a great many autistic people on a wide range of issues including burnout, relationships, masking, social interactions, sensory needs, overwhelm and many other areas.

Anxiety
​
Normal anxiety is part of life – concerns about relationships, family, job security, and health are commonplace. Short-term anxiety subsides once issues are resolved.
Excessive anxiety, however, involves persistent worry, leading to physical symptoms like overthinking and sleeplessness.
When anxiety becomes overwhelming it can escalate beyond control, affecting our well-being. Recognizing and addressing persistent anxiety is crucial for a balanced, more comfortable life. Find out more about how I can support you below.

Trauma
​
Counseling for trauma, with a focus on both the body and mind, is a holistic approach aimed at addressing the deep impact of traumatic experiences. Trauma affects not only mental well-being but also shows up in stiffness and unpleasant symptoms in the body. This counseling approach integrates mind-body techniques.
By combining traditional therapeutic methods with body-centered support such as noticing what is going on with the body, I work with you to help you learn to understand what your body is telling you, We will work together to ease trauma both physically and mentally.
