How I can help

I am a warm, approachable and caring therapist offering you confidential and non-judgmental counselling support. I work with you to support you in finding a path out of whatever it is that is hurting you or holding you back.

I also think that laughing, swearing and generally being human is absolutely fine in the counselling room, if that is how you best express yourself. I offer an open, friendly space where I hope you can be free to be you without filter, and say whatever you need to in your own way.  (I promise I will not sit there quietly with a raised eyebrow making you sweat.)

I offer in person, online and walk and talk therapy. Each one has got its benefits - please do go to the dedicated pages to find out more about these approaches.

I’m a Person-Centred and Existential counsellor. Broadly speaking it means that I will work with you to uncover what you think isn’t working in your life and help you discover what you want to do to move forward. I will be led by you as to what isn't working for you and will listen carefully to what you need. I’ll help guide you to your own solutions. Finding answers in counselling is an inside job. If the answers are truly yours, they are much more likely to stick.

Areas of Counselling I work with

I work with adults over 18.

I specialise in all areas of anxiety, Autism, ADHD, LGBT and trauma.

I have come across a wide variety of issues as a counsellor for agencies and NHS clients and can support you in many other areas as well.

I offer an initial free 20 minute consultation to establish whether I can help you with your issue and for you to get a sense of whether you feel comfortable with me. Please call or email me - my details are in the contact section at the bottom of this page.
